Serve
Serving others reflects the heart of Jesus and is another one of the environments where he molds and shapes us. In fact you are made new in Christ to serve! “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10, NLT)
Being a part of God’s church body, you have a vital role to play. Even from day one, everyone can serve in some way. Often, these early service opportunities are the proving grounds that confirm a particular gift or passion and eventually lead you to discover new places to serve.
Looking for a Place to Serve?
A good initial step is to fill out our online Serve Opportunities survey. Once you complete and submit this, a Ministry Team Leader from each service area you selected will contact you within a few days. Our desire is to help you find an area that is a good fit for you and contributes to our overall mission of helping others pursue God.
Please take a moment right now to complete the Serve Opportunities survey.
How can I serve our community and world?
Whether through spontaneous acts of kindness or team-based outreaches with The River, Jesus wants each of us to share his love with others and help bring life to dead places.
We encourage you to jump in and serve your community with your family, small group or a team from our church. We also take groups on mission trips to other parts of the country and world. Sign up for the e-current to stay up-to-date on what's happening.
