The Big Picture
So what does this pursuit look like? What experiences can you anticipate on your God-journey? What process will help you move closer to God and become the person he created you to be?
The Bible presents a dynamic, life-changing process that helps us pursue God so we can in turn help others. The following graphic and icons visualize the process as explained earlier.
At the heart of this life-changing process is a person, Jesus. Jesus is the center, the focal point, the door we go through to find God. Jesus himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6, NLT). In other words, he is the true path to God. His whole life, death and resurrection were devoted to opening the way for us to find God and enter into a personal relationship with him. Jesus wants more than anything to show you how to find God and reveals the key points that your own pursuit of him will lead you to discover.
