How Do I Pursue God?
At the River, we believe that people matter to God. We also believe we are called to help people pursue God and come to know Jesus. Pursuing God leads to following Jesus. To know Jesus is to become his follower and through him, enter into a relationship with God.
What does it mean to become a follower of Jesus? Some believe it means to try and be a good or moral person. Others believe it means to attend church regularly. Still others believe it means to follow a prescribed set of religious rules and rituals.
The reality is that knowing Jesus means understanding who he is and what he has done, and what it means to your life.
